Welcome to Bonded From Birth!
I don't know about you, but I'm excited! Finally unravel the mystery behind your menstrual cycle and make it work for you!
This is what you will need to do to get started.
1. Get a digital thermometer, if you don't already have one. It needs to be able to read temperatures to the .1 degree. Put that thermometer on your night stand beside your bed, so you don't have to get out of bed in the mornings to reach it.
2. Print out a copy of the fertility chart, and place it near the thermometer with a pencil or pen. See the bottom of this page for the download.
3. Print out a copy and read through the Fertile Days E-Report and Quick Guide to Charting. Keep the Quick Guide with your chart. See the bottom of the page for the download.
4. Join the Bonded From Birth Fertility Forum so you can post questions, get answers, and discover some charting friends along the way. See the bottom of the page for the link.
6. Be patient. Remember that even if intercourse is timed appropriately you still have a good chance of not getting pregnant depending on your age. Basically, if you are very young, like in your early 20's, you have a 50% chance of getting pregnant. If you are in your mid to upper 20's, you have a 35% success rate. If you are in your 30's, your success rate goes down to 25%. This is why you should give yourself a good 6 to 7 months to chart your fertility signals and time intercourse strategically before you seek a fertility specialist. If you discover any problems sooner through your charting, you may want to consult one sooner. During our time together, we'll go over some of the various problems you may discover.
7. Most importantly, RELAX and enjoy your journey. Don't turn sex solely into a means of achieving pregnancy, lest you get frustrated with one another if you don't conceive in the first couple of months.
